Expert Site Preparation in Parker County, TX

Bird Dog Excavation LLC handles site preparation for residential, commercial, and rural properties throughout Parker County. Our work covers land clearing, rough grading, cut-and-fill earthwork, soil compaction, and drainage shaping. Every job starts with a site read. We assess your terrain, existing vegetation, and drainage patterns before any equipment moves. Parker County soil often contains expansive clay that shifts with moisture changes. Skipping proper compaction on that kind of ground leads to foundation settlement and drainage failures later. We grade each pad to direct water away from your structure and compact the subgrade to a stable base before any concrete is poured. Whether you are building a home, a metal building, or a barndominium in Parker County, the ground work has to be right before anything else can go up. Call Bird Dog Excavation LLC to schedule your site assessment and get your project started on solid ground.

Yes, we work on rural and residential properties across Parker County, including acreage with dense brush, uneven terrain, and limited access. We assess each site before mobilizing equipment to match the right machines to your land.

Site preparation includes land clearing, rough grading, cut-and-fill earthwork, soil compaction, and drainage shaping to ready your pad for construction. The exact scope depends on your lot conditions and what you plan to build.

Before and after, you can definitely tell the difference! Not only did Nick do an amazing job helping us place rock to fix our erosion issues, but he was also prompt, on time, and extremely professional throughout the entire process. The finished result looks great, and it’s clear he takes pride in his work. I can’t recommend Bird Dog Excavations enough. If you need excavation, erosion, landscaping work done, give them a call—Nick will get it taken care of for you! And for those asking on pricing, he’s very reasonable on prices. Best work and price that came out! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Nick at Bird Dog Excavation is hands on when undertaking a effort and ensures the job is done right!! We had an outstanding experience and fantastic support with Nick and his team throughout the process of re-structuring our 600+ foot driveway and oval turnaround with custom curbs and adding the necessary gravel and compaction. They added the needed dirt and sod in accompanying areas and resolved drainage issues as well with altering curb heights and re-directing the curb path in areas and ultimately funneling into a custom made steel pipe cattle guard with its own catch basin. Nick kept in constant communication during the entire effort and he and his team were phenomenal!! They were professional, timely, and knowledgeable and always kept the site clean. I would highly recommend Bird Dog Excavation!! Nick and his team are dependable, give superior service and will provide high customer satisfaction with a cost effective approach!!

We hired Bird Dog Excavation Services to remove 500 ft of old fence, clear the fence line, and then run new fencing. This was on our main pasture so it required the job to be done quickly so our cattle would not be pushed out for an extended period of time. It also required significant grade work to improve drainage to prevent future washouts. In just 2 days the project was complete beyond expectations. We then utilized a third day for brush cutting a very overgrown section of land that had been unusable. Giving us more pasture and access to an overgrown pond. Incredible results in just 3 days adding value and utilization to our property. Highly recommend.

Bird Dog Excavation has been incredible to work with on multiple projects for us. They’re always very timely in communication, professional from start to finish, and the quality of their work is consistently top-tier. Most recently, they helped with prep work for a retaining wall project and did an amazing job. We’ll absolutely be having them back when it’s time to start the wall itself. Highly recommend!
